Standards
Editorial policy
These are the rules we hold ourselves to. They are not decoration — when we get something wrong, this is the document we are accountable to.
Originality & rights
- Everything we publish is written by our editorial desk. We don't scrape, spin or republish other people's articles, and we did not inherit or reuse the previous owner's content when this domain changed hands.
- We quote sparingly and attribute clearly. If you believe we've used your work or likeness without right, tell us (contact) and we'll act quickly.
Accuracy & sourcing
- Factual claims are backed by linked, namable sources — research, primary documents, or established organisations. We prefer primary sources to hot takes.
- We never invent statistics about the queer community. If we can't source a number, we don't publish it.
- Every substantial piece carries an author byline and a publish date; updated pieces show an "updated" date.
Health, crisis & sensitive topics
- Pieces touching mental health, suicide, self-image or trauma open with a content note and close with real support resources.
- We are journalists and community writers, not clinicians. Where a piece has not been reviewed by a relevant professional, we say so and keep the tone non-medical. Nothing here is a substitute for professional care.
Representation & dignity
- We treat trans people as people — never as a fetish category, a punchline or a "debate."
- We don't deploy degrading clichés, and we don't infer or assign a reader's identity or orientation.
- We center the dignity of the people we write about, including sex workers and adult performers.
Imagery
- All illustration on this site is original, synthetic vector artwork — geometric risograph-style posters. We do not publish photographs of real people presented as community members, and our art does not depict, imitate or deepfake any real or identifiable individual.
- See the disclosure for how commercial external links are handled.
Adult content & consent
- This is an 18+ publication. We discuss adult sexuality frankly and link to legal, consensual adult platforms.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery has no place here and is never hosted, embedded or linked. We do not run or link Telegram "nudes" channels or similar grey-area funnels.
Corrections
We fix errors promptly and visibly. Material corrections are noted on the piece with the date. To request one, email us — see contact.
